Hypothesis
My  hypothesis is that the southeastern part of Evanston is the most polluted.(by E.T.H.S.)
Abstract
The purpose of my experiment is to recognize the area of Evanston that is most polluted.
Materials

1. 10 3-by-5 in index cards
2. Magnifying glass
3.10 balsa wood sticks
4. Petroleum jelly
5. Pencil
6. Stapler
7. Clear plastic wrap
Results

There were a lot of particles on the card I left at Lake and Pitner.  There were very few particles on the card I left at the Lee Street beach.  The other cards had amounts of particles somewhere in between these two amounts.

Conclusion
My hypothesis was correct.  The area with the most pollution was the southwestern part of Evanston on Lake and Pitner (near E.T.H.S.).  The area with the least pollution was the southeastern part of Evanston (on Lee Street beach).
