Hypothesis

I will use use kinds of cloths.I think that cotton will clean most of the oil off of the feathers.
Purpose

To save birds from all of the tragedies that can kill birds.  I will use use kinds of cloth.
Materials

  • Feathers
  • Oil from the cars
  • A container
  • Cotton
  • Polyester
  • Terry cloth
  • Wool

  •
Procedure
  1. First I will take a container the oil and water mix it together.
  2. I will get the feathers and place them into containers.
  3. Dip the feathers into the oil.
  4. I will take the first cloth take as much oil off as I can.
  5. If the materials sticks onto the oil it will be one the least.
Results

The Cotton had no materials stuck to the feathers and I would rate it 6.5.  The terry cloth also had no materials stuck to the feather and I would rate it 7.5.  The polyester also had no material it’s ratings is 6.8.  The wool also had no material stuck and its rating is 6.9.
Conclusion

My hypothesis was wrong and the wool had the most off of the feather.  The wool had the most with one stoke off and if the animal rescuers use this as a use it will take more than one stroke to get it off.
