Hypothesis
I hypothosize that three of the five inches inside the jug will have evaporated into the cloud.

Purpose
I wanted to find out how much water condenses in a cloud
Materials
  • a five gallon jug.
  • five packs of matches.
  • about one gallon of water.
  • a very large cork with a whole through the middle.
  • a straw.
  • some tape.

Procedure
  1. My procedure will be , I will have a five gallon jug and fill it with five inches of water.
  2. I will take  some matches light them and drop them in to the jug. Over a time period of
  3. 30 days I will measure how much of the water has evaporated in to the cloud.

Results
1 inch and 6/8s of an inch condensed in to the cloud.

This is a picture of condensed water forming a cloud.

Conclusion

1 and 6/8s of an inch were condensed in to the cloud, and my hypothesis of of the 5 inches would have condensed was wrong.
