I teach a class of 12th grade World Literature. This semester,
my
students are developing web pages that give background information
about
the authors we are studying. I am completing web pages on Isabel
Allende, one of the authors we study, as an illustration of the kind
of
page I'd like students to complete.
I'd like to use the photograph of Isabel Attende on this page:
http://www.metroactive.com/papers/metro/12.14.95/allende-9550.html
The photo is credited to Christoher Gardner.
The purpose of our web site is only academic -- students are sharing
their learning with www audiences for learning purposes. We expect
to
launch our web site as one of many engaged learning projects on Illinois
Computer Educators <http://www.iceberg.org> sometime in the next
two
months.
Can you grant me permission to use the Gardner photo or let me know
how
I could obtain permission from him?
